Service and food was brilliant. Get all different kinds of meat brought out to you, a salad bar and a jug of water to your table. The meats were delicious and filling and definitely worth the money.
First time here, although the family has eaten here before, special event for my father in laws birthday. First off, excellent service, imidiate warm welcome from the host, and incredible service throughout. Secondly, excellent food, different cuts of beef, gammon, chicken, sausage all carved to your plate, steaks especially where cooked to perfection, really good warm and cold salad bar, Finally, atmosphere, perfect, a mixture of modern and rustic, very comfortable. Wish I could give more stars. Shall definitely eat here again.
Absolutely fantastic. Firstly a massive shout out to the staff. Really on the ball, polite , prompt and very helpful. If I was thier boss, I would be extremely proud. The choice and quality of the meat and accompanying salad bar was top drawer. We have paid double what we paid last night and not had the quality and service we received here. Fantastic choice of quality meat, wow , the pork belly!!!!!! And the nice unusual touch of the roasted whole pineapple. We were there for our wedding anniversary and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.
Everything was amazing. We went for a birthday lunch celebration, and everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly, polite , and entertaining. All the service provided is like a story, you are not getting bored and keeping you ongoing. Not too much, but not too little. Exactly how it should!
Wow Where should we start! Been recommended this venue from friends and Family that highly recommended us this restaurant. We have booked a table knowing they are always so busy. The manager greeted us with a huge smile and very politely taken us to our table, he explained us the menu and the concept very well and to detail. We were so please that we have booked a table, the restaurant was very busy with a great atmosphere. We soon dive into what I can describe a well presented and fresh salad buffet, so much to choose from, mouth watering… straight after go presented to our table some delicious well cooked pipping hot meats, they were so tender and well seasoned. Staff were on point and couldn’t have done more for us, the all experience was one of a kind! We are definitely coming back and recommending it to our friends, this place got to be the best in York. Give it a try, you will not regret. Well done to the all team and thank you so much for making this day one to remember.
